Anvil dealt with a bunch of different aspects of sound engineering, from installing acoustic systems, to setting up rigs, to making flight cases for various equipment. As in many cases, a logo not only needs to stand on its own but be flexible enough to be used for different sub-businesses.

The fresh visual identity had a vintage appeal to it, with yellows and faded blues supporting a lettered wordmark that looked like it had been stitched on to a pair of jeans. Small, wide-tracked typography served great for bits of information on a letterhead or visiting card.
